Collaborative research, or group projects just in general are not things I really like to do. I always find myself worrying about whether or not we are going to get the project done in time and how we are all going to stay on the same page since we usually only work together twice a week. After working with my group thus far, I have been surprised that it has been easier then it use to. I think that our group will be different then most groups. We are in contact with each other relatively often, and update each other weekly. I also at first was confused about this assignment but my group helped me clear that up, especially now that we have our controlling values. Being able to look at two sides of the cyber bulling specturm really gives our research a new point of view.
Another thing for this topic that has caused a few breakdowns is Wikipedia. The first breakdowns that I encountered, and I assume my group encountered as well, was that our Wikipedia page to edit was "semi-protected" meaning your account had to be four days old, and you had to have made at least 10 changes to other Wikipedia pages. This stopped us right in our tracks for starting right away with this part of the project. To get through this breakdown I just took it day by day, making changes here and there and just waiting for those four days to pass. Though frustrating at first, it was easy to get through.
